Welcome to the Rustic Red Cliff Lodge in the heart of the Animas Valley! This property is a unique piece of Southwest Colorado history; a true, full log, 1970's cabin. She was moved to this site from Vallecito before the current owners bought it, and continues her legacy of entertaining guests to this day, as a very popular VRBO/ AirB+B rental. Being offered completely turn-key, down to the nick naks and forks, it rents out to 10 guests (4 bedrooms, 6 beds, 4 baths), plus it has a detatched oversized 2 car garage with an awesome game room above it. There is a lot of room to recreate on the lawns and a basketball area. Tons of room for parking/ extra vehicles/ RVs. Only about a half mile to Durango Hot Springs, it is also close to river access, golf course, trail systems, not far from town, not far from Purgatory resort area, and ultimately all of the 4-corners tourism sights. There is plenty of room to expand the number of people this property sleeps, a few of the rooms would make excellent bunk rooms. With 1 class A share from the ditch, it is inexpensive and easy to keep those lawns lush. Current owner planted a lot of trees along CR 203 creating a nice buffer from the road.
