As summer gives way to fall, our calendars fill up with a slew of Autumn activities around the Bozeman area. Check out a few of our favorites!
MSU Homecoming Week
From October 8th through the 13th, Montana State University has expanded their homecoming festivities to include students, alumni, and the community. Under the theme "Celebrating 125 Years of Vim", MSU will be hosting activities both on and off campus for the entire week, culminating in the annual Homecoming Parade on Saturday, October 13th. The parade will begin at 10 am on Eighth and Main in Downtown Bozeman, leading up to the much-anticipated Homecoming game against University of Idaho. The game begins at 2 pm at Bobcat Stadium.
Fall Festival at Rocky Creek Farms
From September 28th until October 28th, Rocky Creek Farms will be hosting their Fall Festival. Every Friday at 1 pm and every Saturday and Sunday at 9 am, you'll find hay rides, the pumpkin patch, custom cider pressing, and the market stand with vegetables and fresh cut flowers. A Bozeman tradition for 30 years, the Fall Festival is sure to become one of your family's favorite autumn activities.
Located just 5 minutes west of Costco on Valley Center Road, The Bozeman Maze offers their namesake straw bale maze, PowerJump Bungee Trampoline, mini-train, hay rides, pumpkins, and concessions. Until October 28th, the maze is open Wednesdays from 7-9 pm, Fridays from 5-9 pm, Saturdays from 10 am - 9 pm, and Sundays from 12-6pm. Daily admission includes everything except PowerJump and concessions, and children 4 and under are free.
Run For Your Life Halloween Costume Run
On Saturday, October 27th, participate in a 10K, 5K Run/Walk, or Kids' Run to benefit the Help Center's work for suicide prevention and intervention in the Bozeman community. Prizes will be given for best costume (dogs included!). Halloween characters are likely to surprise runners along the 5k/10k routes. FREE T-shirt included in race fee (guaranteed for those registered by 10/18/18). Groups of 4 or more pay just $20/per participant (not valid on the day before the run or the day of the run). Youth age 6-18 running the 5k or 10k are just $15.
