SPRING BREAK IS JUST A WEEK AWAY! Are you staying in town for Spring Break? That doesn’t mean you have to be bummed about the lack of things to do! Bozeman is known as a great place to get out and explore, but there are so many other things to do as well!
Obviously, this had to be first on the list. Whether you are a college student or taking a break from your 3rd grade classes, everyone will enjoy this outdoor Bozeman activity. With the abundance of cross country ski trails and Bridger Bowl as well as Big Sky, the opportunities are endless.
A kid-friendly and adult-friendly activity! With all the snow and hills around town, you should be in good shape to find a great sledding place (we suggest the dinosaur park!)
Go to a Museum
We have some great museums in Bozeman including Museum of the Rockies and Children’s Museum of Bozeman. If you want to take a little drive, head over to the Montana Grizzly Encounter!
Go to the Movies
Sometimes the cold weather is a little too much to handle, so check out our local movie theater in Gallatin Valley Mall or The Procrastinator at MSU for a cheaper option (they had Thor playing last week!)
Go to a New Restaurant for Lunch Each Day
If your budget allows, check out a new lunch spot every day and have your kids rank them!
The PERFECT winter activity! Bozeman Hot Springs is close, classy, and fun! If you want to experience something new, go to Chico hot springs or Norris!
Volunteer at Heart Of The Valley, the warming center, Community Cafe (now called Forks and Spoon), the Food Bank, or the Senior Center
Why not donate your free time? With so many amazing nonprofits in Bozeman you will easily be able to find one that accommodates something you like.
Your kids will be thanking you for weeks for this one! Laserdash is a place to play some laser tag as well as arcade games. Learn more here.
Head over to Bozeman Fun Zone for some indoor play time that your kids will surely enjoy! It is just $9 and $6 for kids ages 3 and under.
This newer Bozeman business is a candy store that also serves ice cream shakes (bonus, you get to keep the jar they come in).
Gallatin Valley Mall
If you are looking for a free option, go to the mall and check out the game floor! They also have an arcade near the food court.
Take a day trip to Billings and check out their indoor water park! This is Montana's largest indoor water park and is located at The Big Horn Resort in Billings near Zoo Montana. With six waterslides, a wave pool, play structure, activity pool, whirlpool, concessions and arcade the Reef is the perfect place to bring your kids for a spring break day trip!
